COVID-19 UPDATE:

During these unprecedented times, Asco Asbestos remain operational for carrying out essential survey, removal and emergency work where we can. In normal circumstances the nature of our work involves lone working so following social distancing is not an issue. We have however fully reviewed our RA/MS for our operations, highlighting the extent and type of PPE we will be using along with methods implemented to ensure social distancing during any works. We will endeavour to communicate remotely with our clients where possible via email telephone or video link,  furthering our commitment to Government issued guidance but also maintaining our reactive service to our clients at the same time.

Asco Asbestos was formed in response to the growing number of asbestos-related illnesses and deaths occurring each year in the UK, a number which is set to continue to rise. Each year over 5,000 families are affected by this 'hidden killer'.

Asbestos occurs in many types of buildings and it's materials. Some common examples would be schools, hotels, farmyard outbuildings, swimming pools, theatres and domestic housing to name a few. Essentially all buildings built or renovated before 1999 may have asbestos containing materials(ACM's)in them.

Asco Asbestos is based in the heart of central Scotland and offers a nationwide and islands coverage to our customers. We also offer a 24-hour emergency call out service which can prove useful to customers operating out-of-hours. The discovery of an unknown material can halt all works until the material has been analysed to confirm wether asbestos is present or not. Any samples taken by Asco Asbestos can be analysed and reported on within 24 hours at client request.
